今回は青山学院の国際政経の問題でした。
内容一致は3択でしたね。

「社会の豊かさと余暇の関係」についてのお話しでした。

At the heart of current discussions of the relationship between economic development and the distribution of time lies the question of whether leisure increases or decreases as societies get richer.

一 見、"the distribution of time"の意味が曖昧に思えますが、後の"the question of whether leisure increases or decreases as societies get richer."で判明します。つまり、1行目の"economic development"が"societies get richer"を意味し、"the distribution of time"とは、"leisure increases or decreases"のことだとわかります。「時間の配分」とは、「余暇の時間が増すか減るか」という問題なのですね。時間を余暇に配分 (distribution)するかどうかということだったんですね。

経済が発展し、豊かになると、余暇の時間が「増える」という考えの人と「減る」という考えの人が出てきました。筆者は後者の考えでしたね。

ちょっとややこしかったのは以下の部分です。

There is an interesting paradox here: each year we have to work harder in our free time to consume all of the things which we have been working harder in our work time to produce.

「ここに興味深い逆説がある。すなわち、毎年、私たちが労働時間中により熱心に働いて生産してきたすべての物を消費するために、暇なときにより熱心に働かなければならないということだ。」

これがうまく読めないと、7の設問が解きにくいです。

〔c〕は、ものを消費するのは労働時間ではなく、余暇なので×。

ちょっと面倒な問題でした。
